So i got a spoon lip for my 97 civic (off ebay of course)
And im at a lost on how to install it since it goes under the bumper unlike my old mugen lip which goes on top.

The lip is just like the mugen lip with the side flaps to screw on which makes no sense. Wouldnt having top flaps make more sense? There's no way to install it unless i put it on the bumper like the mugen lip? It only came with 4 screws?

Any suggestions?

Im guessing it is a type r lip? If it has screw holes (4, one for each screw) then line it up under your bumper and mark the location of the holes. Drill pilot holes then screw it on. Loctite would help to prevent the screws from falling out. Also, the best way to attach it would be to take off the bumper. You dont need a lift to do it either. If you want to make sure the lip holds better, see if you can slap on some double sided industrial strength tape.
