97 EX Fuel/Temp Gauge Problems

97 EX Fuel/Temp Gauge Problems So I pulled my gauges out of the clusterand installed led's in the cluster housing. I put te gauges back in the cluster housing & screwed them back in but when i plugged the cluster up gas & temp needle went all the way up & stayed there. Temp needle will drop when switch is off but gas needle stays the same. PLEASE HELP!

There's a chance you broke it during the modification. The meter tends to stick when they break.
Example: one of the tests for whether the fuel gauge or fuel sending unit is faulty involves shorting a wire, which throws too little resistance. This high current raises the gauge to full, and if it's allowed to move too far the gauge becomes damaged and sticks on full.
