Alright so I have a 2000 manual trans ex and a few days ago I was getting off the freeway and tried to downshift into 4th, stick wouldnt budge. Even with the clutch pressed all the way to the floor it wouldn't move. So I revved the engine in neutral real quick and threw it into 3rd and that worked. I was a little worried about it but didn't think much of it after that.

Now today the clutch has been acting funny. Every now and then when I shift into the next gear it isn't smooth. Sometimes it feels like the stick is getting slapped around in the gears before it engages. Anyone else have this problem or know what it might be? Any help is greatly appreciated!

(Also my check engine light came on today while driving. Didn't notice any difference in how the car was running. Could the two problems be related?)
