Anybody put Transmission filter on auto 6th gen civic?

Hey,
We all know that gearbox has put an external transmission filter on his 7th gen, that would normally go on a 2001 HX CVT transmission.

Does the magnetic drain bolt on our(6th gen, automatic) transmissions do a good enough job or would transmission life be longer with a filter?
I am planning on draining my transmission every 10K or 15K but then putting the fluid back in the transmission for another round, so the only reason is to wipe off the magnetic drain bolt. The ATF-DW1 fluid should last quite a while I would guess. I'd replace with 3 qts fresh every other time (If I'm gutsy, else every time)

At the bottom of this post is a link to the filter and a diagram. The parts are cheap enough. Has anybody done it and posted pics for their 6th gen?

Part#10 is the filter.
