Which O2 sensor to buy...need quick advice

im looking on amazon for a replacement pre cata or upstream o2 sensor to buy.

P0135 o2 sensor heater circuit malfunction (bank1 sensor 1)

however, none of the o2 sensors on amazon state which sensor it is...is it upstream or down? i think this code is for an upstream right?

Can someone please hit amazon for me and link a cheap o2 sensor replacement with the oem plug please?

thanks

upstream for the front and downstream at the cat converter
use oem plug and play
dont go with the splice and connect ****
it doesnt work
remember when buying a quality product like o2 sensor use bosch or denso
cuz these product last you over 10 years
once you replace it you can forget about it till you go grey

Re: Which O2 sensor to buy...need quick advice

There are 2 circuits in the sensor. 1 for the sensor reading and 1 for the heater. The heater is there to heat the sensor so it will go into closed loop and start affecting fuel trim to cut emissions. Before, when the heater circuits were not in the sensors you had to wait until the whole emissions system was hot before it would go into closed loop.

That being said, P0135 is for the heater side of the sensor. Meaning the sensor is probably ok and you probably have a short in one of the wires from the sensor to the ECU or a bad connector. Get a service manual and it will give you step by step diagnosis. You can download the service manual on this site or Honda-tech.com or order a paper one here: http://www.helminc.com/helm/homepage...&usg=AFQjCNFpm

In my opinion the paper manual is worth every single penny. You may have to pay $50 now but, it will save you money in the future. Maybe even with this repair if it's a bad wire.

BTW: Hondas hate aftermarket sensors, go with OEM.
