looking to do a mild internal build for the turbo setup i have, any ideas?
hey, just looking for some info on what i should do, im kinda new to upgrading the motor, as far as the obvious turbo-ing, i dunno much about it, i just did a small td04 setup on my d16y7, running 10 lbs with 450 blueclip dsm injectors, and im going to get it tuned on crome pro, but i was wondering should i do a bottom end build, at least mildly? if so what do you think i should do? and what about top end build. and im going to be converting it to the d16y8 intake shortly, but any ideas and info would help me out greatly! thanks

You can pull a lot of power out of that motor without touching the bottom end, more importantly, it's useless upgrading the bottom end with an EMS as horrible as chrome. Build the top end completely first, get a good turbo set-up and add Hondata before you start laying down serious coin on a set of low compression pistons that can handle high hp.

Thanks for the info! Helps out immensly, so as far as top end building, is there anything certain you recomend? As far as different brands upon reliability and promising increases? I was thinking of doing a vtec swap and then getting that done up, maybe a complete y8? or would that be a waste of time
