Just wanted to ask around here to see what yall think. I've got a 00 civic ex. I just recently swapped in a d16y5 from a 97 hx due to bottom end troubles on the d16y8. So I'd really like to get more power and wondering if it would be worth it to swap my head from the y8 or just the intake and throttle body. It would also be nice to get cruise control back. I first need to put a knock sensor on for it to run a bit smoother. I'm also using the harness and ecu for the y8. I've looked up the mini me but haven't found anything on swapping the y8 head onto the y5. cause it already has a form of vtec. Any input would be helpful cause I know you guys know your ****.
