Hey everyone kinda new to the site and to civic. Pick up a 96 civic ex auto for free and I need yall expert help on it. The car is in pretty good shape the problem is it being auto, how hard is it and how much money will it take to change it out to standard help please. thanks

First off welcome to the site, and 2nd you will need the trans, shift linkage, slave, cylinder, clutch pedals, all associated lines running to the clutch reservoir, clutch, & shifter. There are some write ups on the manual to auto swap just keep in mind that you will need to wire in the reverse switch to the auto trans wiring harness and the neutral safety switch for the clutch pedal to the auto harness. Its fairly involved so if you do not know what you are doing then probably best to get someone who knows what they are doing to either help you out or take it to a good mechanic with a good reputation.
