I have a chance to get my hands on 4 si rims from a 99 civic si for 180. They all have tires but only 2 of them are really road worthy. Another issue is one of the rims is bent. bad. and will need repaired to be used. These also all come with center caps so does this seem like a fair deal?

repairing a bent rim can be costly price that out as well as the rubber to replace the crappy ones before buying at 180 that is not a bad price but just make sure you can actually get the repair done without costing you a small fortune.

These are locations for Discount Tire / America's Tire. All the local stores here in San Diego provide a wheel repair service. The last time I had a rim repaired it cost me $90 (prices may vary). The service include tire dismounting/mounting, repair and OEM refinish. This may be a good time to negotiate a good price for 2 or 4 new tires plus the service (remember, everything is negotiable at a tire store. They mark up all tires and services, then make you feel like you are robbing them when you ask for a discount. I really pity the fools that buy tires, repairs and/or services without haggling. CHA-CHING!!).

Rim repair isn't as expensice as it once was. Everyone is rolling on alloys nowadays. I am sure there are comperable mobile and in-house repair facilities in your area.

Well i ended up getting them for 160. They are in bad bad bad bad shape but the one with the bend isn't as bad as the guy claimed. ill post some pics soon to get some feed back hopefully i can have them on my car by june

well get them balanced if it shake alot then rim is no good
if it crack on the inside and leaking air, its very dangerous.
i paid 320 for used si rims and 2 of them somhow got plug on the side wall,
i wonder how the guy did it but not a good idea to fix a tire, i had to replace the tires on mines,

cheap asses who wants to get by
and avoid paying for at least a used tire from the tire shop would only cost 30 bucks
