Engine Swap y8 to z6 please help!

Ok, so bear with me because I'm just learning about cars. The engine on my 2000 civic ex coupe manual was blown out a few weeks ago. The engine I got was a D16Z6 engine, but I am still using my old Y8 head. From what I understand from my friend is that the car has a weak spark and will not turn over. A lot of the sensors have been raplaced and we are still running into the same problem. It is getting gas. Is there a compatibility issue with the head and engine, could it be the ECU, or what other problems might I be facing with doing this swap? I will be able to get all the exact details tomorrow, but untill then I'm stuck with these. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

More questions, will the old dizzy from the y8 engine work? Because that is what we are trying to use. It is the OBD2, also we are using the Y8 timing belt.
