level to check tranny fluid?

I appologize for the newbie question..... but does the car have to be completly level(four jack stands) or will two jack stands in the front do it to check trany fluid?

Auto or manual? If it's auto then most people do it level and running. If it's 5 speed you should be okay with the front end jacked up and NOT running. If your checking the level though you may as well do a drain/fill. It's cheap and a good thing to keep on top of.

FYI-automatics should be done fully warmed up, on level ground and ENGINE OFF in Honda's.

Manual-I'd still do it on level ground as Honda instructs but honestly it's much less critical on a manual transmission.
