mugen lip
Re: mugen lip
Hmm, well my cousin has a '99 EX Coupe, and he used Eibach Pro-Kit Springs. It lowered his car 1.5 inches in the front and 1.3 inches in the rear.

^ Instead of getting ripped off at AAS, he bought the same set of springs from eBay for 150 shipped. They were brand new with a warranty. Then he bought a Type R ABS Plastic Front/Rear Lip Kit from eBay for $105 shipped.

He put the lips on himself and got it lowered for lowered and alligned for $350 at a local body shop.
So, for $605, he got a full lip kit, springs, and lowered. All eBay parts and he had the car from 2001 until 2006. His ABS plastic Type R Lip never cracked, melted, contracted or anything.
I regret not taking pictures but the only way I thik his car could have been improved was if he painted the whole thing. He left his lips and stock skirts unpainted... But yeah, his car was lowered 1.5 up front and 1.3 in the rear with cheap ABS lips and he never had a problem. I drove his car occasionally and the handling was superb as well.
Good luck with whatever you do!
