Is there any good and cheap exhaust for my car? its 1997 civic ex, d16 engine, 5 speed and everything is stock. Im still a teenager and I was wondering if theres a exhaust around 100 - 300 that's good for my ex and if im right that's what makes my car louder right? Someone please help me.

with my first civic i bought a muffler off of a buddys totaled car for 30$, ebay test pipe for 60$, and straight piped the resignator for 5$ totaling 95$, but thats because i did the labor. talk to a local tuner shop and see if anyone has a used axle back or muffler. if ur in auto's class talk to the teacher and see if anyone in the class is good/trustworthy enough to weld your exhaust. if u don't have a student that can help, take it to a muffler shop and have them weld it, or fab a braket, if u can't weld it yourself.
p.s. that car was a 2000 ex and it screamed lol, its the loudest street driven honda i've heard
