New to Civics, need help.

I just bought a '97 Civic Ex and I have a few questions.
I'm not really familiar with Honda's or manual transmissions.

1. Mine has an ignition switch (or button I guess), is that something tat comes stock or was it added?

2. Next to the trunk and gas cap popper is a key hole...what is this for?

Thanks for all the help.

engine start button was added, those dont come stock. the keyhole next to the popper is factory, you can lock the popper by using your ignition key (usually if you valet park your car and dont want people looking in your trunk).

Its on the left side.
It's placed in the center right below the lip where the fuse door should be (I just realized this must be why mine is missing).
I will try to post a pic as soon as I can.
