Eyelids with deflector...opinions?

I want to order some eyelids but i need some opinions on weather or not to keep the bug deflector, it would probably look better without it but if i take it off am i goin to peel paint? and does anyone have any pics of a civ with both?

i would say no deflector and no eyelids.
