I just bough a black 96 hatch and it has some 16" wheels with low profile tires and i live in new york (Many potholes).The wheels have already been causing me problems in the first couple days had slow leaks in 2 tires...can anyone recoomend me some new tires and where i can get some steel plain rims or with hubcaps...

I'm sure you someone might be interested in buying your 16" rims. Just have a tire center fix the leaks and then sell the set. The best place to find plain stock steel rims with would be a junk yard. They are loaded with them. They might even come with decent tires.

Assuming you're looking for a daily driver all weather tire, there are many good tires out there. Yokohamas are good. But if you ask 5 guys you'll get 5 answers.

I use Fusion-HRI tires on my 17's. I have many potholes as well where I live and the tires are in good condition still.

* I dont know you have firestone there, but thats a tire they have onstock.

Thanks guys for the replies i think im going to stay with these rims and im going to try painting them black.. any tips on that?
