I just got a 96 DX Hatch would really like a little more power but I don't wan't to kill the gas mileage. I'm thinking of putting some nice ceramic coated headers on it like the Holley Airflows. Unfortunately Holley says the headers are for EX only so I dunno why they wouldn't fit the DX except for the cat. Anyone have any experience or advice?

it may have to do with the different engine setups between the dx and the ex try k2.com motorsports.com they usually have a good selection and prices for any thing your looking for

Teh DX is the base model it probably has a diff engine than the EX.

I have a 97 EX with a 96 DX motor D16y7 with a d16y8 head and i used my EX header.. dont know if it matters that its not a hatch????
