Best thing to do to my gauges

Ok what can I do to make my gauges on my 97 Civic LX Auto look better. Im 16 its my first car and the thing I hate the most are the gauges on it. They look like this http://astro.temple.edu/~mkhan005/pics/98civauto.jpg ; I was looking at getting these for it eBay Motors: 96 97 08 99 00 CIVIC AUTO AC S7 GAUGES REVERSE GAUGE (item 200051347621 end time Nov-30-06 17:02:56 PST)
Problem is I really want my needles to glow red like on the newer civics and accords but there seems to be no way to do that. So what creative things should I do to my guages?

You could swap them out. I just swaped my 98 EX gauges out for 05 SI gauges which have the glow needles. They look really hot. The reverse glow gauges from eBay are hard to get on and personnaly I think they look like garbage, as I had them on for a while.

^^^^That is the stock cluster out of an 03 civic lx / ex. It will fit right in but there are wires you will have to mod. Their are plenty of DIY on doing the swap, you just have to
