help please!!

Hi, I have just recently purchased a 1997 Honda Civic DX, black 2 door car. The single previous owner never did any work to the car, leaving it completely stock. I however have no prior experience on working with cars, although I would really like to learn. Does anyone know of a simple project I can do to my car to give it something new? Any recomendations would be appreciated!! Thanks

i recommend something pretty simple, such as
spark plugs
wires
rotor
brakes and pads
belts, etc..

go from there

Change the timing belt if it's time, that'll get you going.
