Rep Power: 0 02 vs. 03 Auto Tranny
Hello,
I am new to the 7th gen civics...basically looking into an 01-03 for a cheap DD. I would prefer a 5 speed, however i have found a good deal on an 03 with an auto tranny.
I did some research and found that there are countless problems with the 01-02 auto transmission, however i have been unable to find much on the 03 (and 04-05 for that matter).
Did they change the transmission in 03 or do they suffer from the same problems as the 01-02 MY?
While I'm at it, are there any differences between the years with the manual transmission?
My wife has an 07 ex-l with the auto tranny and we have had no issues with her car what-so-ever.
Thanks in advance!

Hi
I have had atleast 2 re-builts on an 2003 Civic EX 4dr sedan A/T transmissions and problems and issues haven't yet died after 175,000.
The re-built was still 2003 tranny andyou have no idea how fed up i am with this year transmission.
