This might be a stupid question, but are we talking about the sensor on the exhaust pipe or the electrical connector?

electrical connector. Got it off from the header though. Now I cant figure out how to get the bottom bolt that connects the header to the car because its kinda blocked by the bottom 02 sensor. also i cant fit any kind of tool in there to unscrew the o2 sensor or get the bolt off from the bottom because its blocking it D:

Re: cant unplug o2

Thanks. I went through about every wrench my dad had and I finally found one to fit. Had to torque it with a 5lb metal mallet but it came right off. Got the exhaust all installed too! Now I just have a rattling problem because I couldn't get one part back into the rubber donut

Re: cant unplug o2

Doesnt look like it, but some of the bolt part is kinda stripped. On another note, I totally forgot to buy extension cables. Can the o2 sensors just lay around in the engine bay or should I wrap them up for the time being?

Re: cant unplug o2

No, I installed a DC header with a DC downpipe. I've also found out that the header doesn't have a plug for an o2 sensor, but the downpipe does, which is why I need an extension. But what am I supposed to do with the o2 sensor that went to the header?
