Rep Power: 0 Some quick cosmetic questions for someone that doesn't know jack.
Hey all, I really don't know any of the good or bad brands for different parts, or what the right prices are, so I'm hoping you guys can help me out?
Btw, I drive a 2003 Civic EX. It shares the earlier body of the 2001-2, but the taillights of the 2004-5.
Anywho, the first thing I need is a good pair of normal fog lights. None of that white or HID or Xenon stuff.
I'd like to find something that is a good deal, a well-known company, and relatively easy to install compared to other fog lights.
I went through eBay and found a few. What are your opinions/recommendations?

The second thing I'm looking for is an exhaust tip purely for looks, with no effects on noise or anything else. The description says its an easy fit on any 2001-5 Civic. Does anyone have experience/advice?

Last but not least, last week I saw another Civic that was almost identical to mine, except that it was black. It had a vtec badge on each of its front doors, which I found to be very sexy. I went online and looked, and found it. However, it would looks way less sexy on my silver Civic because the badge has a black background. Has anyone seen one that is similar to the rest of the badges on the Civic (meaning, no black background)?

THANKS FOR PUTTING UP WITH MY NOOBISHNESS!!!

if you want functioning fog lights that actually light up the foreground and not just for looks, go with honda fogs from www.handaaccessories.com they are still on sale for quite a bit less than usual. exhaust tip is usually easy to install, just slide it over the factory tip and tighten the screw. i doubt it would work for sedan tho since the stock tip is curved down. no i have not seen the mini vtec emblems like that without black background. thats the only way honda makes them.

Well I'm mainly looking for looks, since I don't really have a fog or sight problem where I live. The genuine lights are a bit expensive for what I'm going for...
As for the exhaust tip, are there any that would work with the curved exhaust?
(BTW, I ended up finding the vtec badge here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda...#ht_500wt_1182).

the vtec emblem is not a real honda part, but maybe it doesnt matter. just make sure the size is right for what you want. exhaust tips will not work for sedans at all.
