Front turn signal bulbs

Well, after reading almost every topic here about this I still have a few questions concerning wich turn signal lamps I should buy for my soon 'clear' headlights.

I couldn't figure it out what's the best option, and I'm a bit confused about the 7440/7443 thing.

I've read this topic:

https://www.civicforums.com/forums/1...ing-bulbs.html

Is it the best option to replace my stock parking light bulbs for the 7440 silvervisions and use them as turn signals? I don't know if I got it right.

Anyone help?

Re: Front turn signal bulbs

7443 is a dual filament bulb. parking light and turn signal combined. if you go with this one, you should look for an amber glass colored bulb, which is very rare. theres an ebay seller "autopartshouse" that sells em, but they are not very bright. color bulb in clear lens housing is always worse than clear bulb with colored lens. if you go 7440, the silvervisions are quite a bit brighter than standard orange bulb. and they look chrome/clear when off. but a 7440 is turn signal filament only, no park light. so it will only flash with the turn signal. remember you still have the small round park light which is a separate bulb. so its not like you wont have any park light if you choose the 7440.
