Body Work Estimate
Body Work Estimate
Mechanically, the car is sound. I think I found all the main pieces I need. (Hood, Bumper cover, Bumper reinforcement, grille assembly, radiator fan, a/c condenser fan, radiator, radiator support) Not sure what else I would need. I just don't know how much it would be to get everything done. Hopefully someone could help me out. Trying to fix my car to give to my little brother.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Got insurance?
Also, I didn't see condenser and any damaged AC pipes in your list.
Hood hinges.
Did it blow an airbag?
Did it fire the seat belt and/or buckle tensioners?
Is the SRS light now on?
Did the engine run very long after the radiator was broken and emptied? (possible overheat damage)
Re: Body Work Estimate
There was no airbag deployment or seat belt damage and the SRS light isn't on. The Civic was backed into by a jeep. I just wouldn't want to go through my insurance because I live in Florida which is a no-fault state so my insurance company would sue theirs and my insurance would go up and that wouldn't be worth it for this Civic.
Hood hinges came with the hood I purchased. The radiator damage looks worst than it is. Car still starts up normal and I don't let the thermostat gauge go up more than halfway so it doesn't overheat.

Re: Body Work Estimate
It's hard to find a body shop that will touch a car for less than $1000 and my guess is you are well above that.
Most shops will not want to deal with used parts unless it is so rare that it is the only source for the part. The shop never knows how much work they will have to do to clean the part and make it fit. You might want to see if you can find an individual that will repair it but it may be hard to get a firm estimate. You never know what is bent or needs to be replaced until you take it apart.
