Rear strut removal advice

REAR
strut DIY with working pics??

on that topic

how bad are the top nuts

can I get em out assembled and use my spring compressor once there out??

THANK YOU

(hadda do rear brakes, so wheels are off, front struts been done already, need car wednesday and don't wanna get into a self inflicted oooppsie)

On my 07, the exhaust side was a little difficult to get bolts out. But no big deal. I had no rust or anything however. Be sure to set rotor down on block to torque the bolt with the bushing at the knuckle.

Removing the rear struts is easy as pie on a 7th gen. Top bolts are easily reached through the back seat folded down and/or the trunk. Lower bolts are easy too if you have a breaker bar.

Getting them back is is a bitch!! I've done it twice but next time I'm just going to pay someone. Yes it's that much of a PITA. They will not go in unless they are compressed and there is no room to put a spring compressor on them while installing them.
