Exclamation 02 lx auto to 04 Si standard PLEASE HELP

I have a 02 civic Coupe auto and of course the tranny is starting to get bad now Only 158,167km my friend is scrapping out a 04 si standard. Just wondering if the swap is a reasonable choice? And if it can be done without any major mods. Our thoughts were to just drop both cradles through the bottom and swap the whole cradle from the si to my ex/lx (whichever it is)? But I was wondering about mounting clutch ? Is everything on my auto chassis to mount up for a standard tranny? If anyone could please help me it would be awesome

Re: 02 lx auto to 04 Si standard PLEASE HELP

It is possible I did it (well auto to manual, not d17a1 to d17a2 head, ut that is easy).

Here's the DIY I fallowed

They pulled the engine out the top, I left mine in and pulled the transmission out the bottom, this way you can leave your harness in and rad lines full.

You do not need a manual harness the auto has everything the manual need other than the reverse sensor (just clip of the sensor outlet from the manual harness and run your own wires to the reverse lights).

I left the left engine mount connected and removed the transmission mount and torque mounts, then tilted the engine and transmission down before pulling the transmission. Use a jack to support the engine.

Then To lower the transmission, and later to lift it, I rigged up a DIY transmission hoist, like this...
