Hello Civic gear heads,
I am having a problem with my Honda civic engine sputtering when i am idling the car. I 'm not sure what could be the problem willing to listen to any help information.

Hi! Does the problem continue while you're driving? If not, it could be a dirty idle air control valve (IACV).
You HAVE been keeping up on your regular maintenance, right?

Hey Poopies,
The engine only sputters when Idling, I had just purchased the car in March and have changed the oil and a/c coolant as well as the air cabin filter.
Is this a problem I can fix on my own or do I need a mechanic?

we can not access your mechanical capabilities,

removing and cleaning or replacing a IACV, on a difficulty scale of 1-10 i would rate about a 2-3

for what thats worth i dunno?
