How to remove grill/front bumber?!

I have an '05 civic ex coupe special edition. I've tried to remove the bumper in order to flip out the stock grill with an aftermarket one. I removed all push clips under the hood connected to the grill and under the bumper, removed both screws under bumper, and both 8mm bolts above the tire. The grill pops loose on the sides, but will not come off. Am I missing something? Please help!

Re: How to remove grill/front bumber?!

Pull from the fenders. If the 04-05 is anything like the 01-03, then there's a bracket under the headlights that the bumper "clips into," along with a plastic bracket where the fender meets the bumper. After you release the bumper from those, you should be home free.

edit: looking at a parts diagram for the 04-05, looks like those instructions should work fine

It took some muscle but the bumper came off. Thank you!
