Soon to own 2001 Civic EX..
Hello everyone, I'm actually coming from two Nissan Pathfinders because i need something better on gas and more reliable..The long 60mi trips each day and 15-18mpg just isn't cutting it.
I'm making payments toward a 2001 Honda Civic EX, auto, that's had a lot of front end work done to it. 216k on the clock.
Runs like a dream. and they claim on highway they've reached 41MPG!
The only problem is.. (They said it seems like the tranny filter)
When up to speed, you have to let your foot almost all the way off the gas, for it to shift up into it's final gear. My guess is TPS but, i could be wrong.
Any ideas?
Also, the shifter is broken, so you have to push down on the shifter, then put it into gear, any idea where i could get a shifter ****??
