How do you drive your Civic??
How do you drive your Civic??
My old car was a boat that I always took it easy on because it killed so much gas. I drove it like a grandma. Since ive gotten my Civic, I've been driving it faster &taking off like a bat out of hell from red lights. Its hard not to because its small & so fun to drive but Im going to force myself to Drive Miss Daisy so I wont damage anything. How does everyone else drive theirs??

About half the time, I kinda granny it, just because it saves gas, and gas prices are creeping up; accelerate at about 25-30% throttle (I have a VAFC-II installed, shows me throttle position), and shift at about 3000-3500. I do drive like a stupid ricer-f*** sometimes though, just because I can

I drive...safely. I change gears around 3000 and i'm steady cruising at pretty much 2500. I signal, watch for pedestrians, and leave multiple car lengths between me and the car in front of me, depending on speed. I know it sounds crazy with all that hp and torque at my disposal.

I used to drive slow and gas saving-ly
Ever since I moved over here to the bay area I drive like a maniac.
I found that if ppl dont see you they will bully you in our civics.

I try to "Mexican Block" all drivers behind me so that we all save gas.
On local roads I just drive the limit, maybe 10 above it. On the highways I try to stay at 60 but driving at 80 feels right at home for some reason.
