LC20 Question
LC20 Question
Hello everyone,
just received my LC20 and FP 60 from lubecontrol.com
I changed my oil 4 months back and car ran 1500 miles after the oil change. should I wait till the next oil change before adding LC20 in or I can do it even now? I am planning to do the next oil change after 2500 more miles.
thanks ..

Re: LC20 Question
just add it. use double the first time so it cleans better. so for lc20 you put 2oz per qt of oil and for fp60 2oz per 5 gallons of gas. after that on the next oil change go back to 1oz of each. and dont forget to keep adding 1oz of lc20 every 1k miles of driving.

Re: LC20 Question
probably the best long term oil (lc20) and gas (fp60/plus) additives for every day use. their main purpose is to preserve oil and gas to keep them from breaking down. it also gently cleans the fuel system and engine to keep your car like new. you can easily go a year (or 10k miles) when using lc20 in the oil. and i also verified that gas sitting for a year with fp plus in it can be used no problem. for a deep cleaning of the engine due to neglect, nothing beats auto-rx.com treatment and after that switching to LC products to keep everything clean.

Re: LC20 Question
yeah auto-rx.com is the one time engine cleaner treatment, lubecontrol.com has the long term oil and gas additives lc and fp.
i prefer the fp-plus because it uses a renewable soy base, has more lubrication, is thin like water and easy to pour, and you use 1oz per 10 gallons so it lasts longer. no harm in adding higher amounts either, other than wasting it.
