Which lug nuts?

So I'll be getting my new wheels tomorrow and was just wondering what your preferences are when it comes to lug nuts. Right now, I'm leaning towards red Blox lugs but I have heard they fade to pink quite easily. My wheels are going to be white and so I was planning on mixing white and red on my SSM. Any other suggestions on which lugs would be much appreciated!

Re: Which lug nuts?

Forged Chromoly or Titanium. Aluminum lugs are too fragile for me. Make sure you always use a torque wrench.

I like using torque sticks and impact guns, aluminum lugs for me would never stand up to the abuse. They look nice, but Anodized Red fades the quickest.

Re: Which lug nuts?

i have Mcgards, they work well and are strong. Lordco carries them, the list is around $240 for a set if 16 (lol), I paid $66 taxes in. Revscene has a group account with a decent discount that helps get the price down.

Re: Which lug nuts?

ive been running BLOX forged aluminum lugnuts for a year now.

at first i didnt let them touch an impact gun, but i got over it and have been using my impact gun on them every since... they are completely fine and hold their ground...

then again they are forged.

I've been using the same Kyokugen Forged Heptagon Chromoly Lugs for 9 years. Not flashy, but durable.
