stage 2 n/a cam help!
stage 2 n/a cam help!
so, finally got the stage 2 n/a cam in, currently running untuned, and runs like ****. I'm making no power whatsoever, I was wondering if this is normal or could I be in limp mode?
I'm fixing to buy aem standalone I believe, and have it tuned by the shop in kingsport, tn. comments, or suggestions?

Re: stage 2 n/a cam help!
thanks. that's what I was figuring. I'd love to get kpro, but I cant find a k series Ecu for a decent price. & the tuner I talked to at the shop said he was much more familiar with aem, so I figured id go that route.

Re: stage 2 n/a cam help!
Tuning is an art and a science, so you need someone familiar with Honda engines specifically, and any experienced Honda tuner should be able to handle k-pro. K-pro is less expensive than AEM and way better for a daily driver, there are some nice features on AEM, but you'll never use them.
You can use any of these ECUs.
2002-2004 RSX Base 5 speed (PND -A0 ECU)
2002-2004 RSX Type S 6 speed (PRB-A0 - ECU)
2002-2004 CRV 5 speed (PPA-A0 ECU)
2002-2005 Japanese DC5 Integra Type R (PRC ECU)
2003-2005 Japanese Civic Type R (PRD ECU)
2002-2005 Civic Si (PNF ECU)
Is $89 shipped not a good price?

Re: stage 2 n/a cam help!
Kpro, ebay an RSX PRB ecu (300 shipped) and I think its about 1000 to get it converted to Kpro. That's 1300 on the best ECU for your car.
