Buying ac compressor for 2002 suggestions?

Hi,

My mechanic said that my ac compressor is leaking and I need to replace it. Does anyone has a suggestion on where to buy? I called Honda dealers, the price is $547 new and $450 remanufactured. Ebay for used starts around $80 and remanufactured starts around $150+.

Newbie question: What do you suggest? buy used? remanufactured from Honda? remanufactured from third party? aftermarket?

look for them on amazon. i wouldnt do ebay. at least you will get reviews on amazon.

also, look for something that has a good warranty, like 1+ years

I got mine from some place in Florida on Ebay that has a lifetime warranty. It's a remanufactured compressor that has worked great for two years.
I think it cost $200 shipped.
