About 3 times now in a month, only noticing it properly the last time it happened, but as I drive sometimes my dashboard shuts down, all needles go to zero and all lights turn off except the brake light, then within seconds it restarts and operates normally and the brake light goes off. The engine does not stop even while all needles are at zero.

What could this mean? Is it something that needs urgent attention?
