Fuel Injectors
Fuel Injectors
Ok, so I have pretty much decided that I'm putting on new fuel injectors for my next mod. The thing is, I know pretty much nothing about them. I looked at a few online and saw that there are many different kinds and I have no idea which ones to get. I drive an 04 LX Coupe EM2 with the 1.7L Auto and I haven't done anything to other fuel parts. What cc do I need and saturated or peak and hold? I'm guessing I need Honda Style top as well. Is RC Engineering a good enough brand? I don't want to spend too much on them.
I looked on Raceinspired.com. Thanks for any help you can provide!

Re: Fuel Injectors
Oh, I didn't know that. My friend told me they would make a big difference, but his car has a turbo so that makes sense. Do you have any other performance suggestions for under $1000 that would make a noticable difference?

Re: Fuel Injectors
best bet is have the stock injectors blueprinted if they are old or you think there is a fuel spray pattern issue. but as far as more flow, the stock parts are nowhere near being maxed out.

Re: Fuel Injectors
They're on sale for $300 right now and are the only mod that you don't need k-pro to run that will give significant power gains, see the stickied thread under forced induction and swaps.
Fuel injectors only output the amount of fuel your ecu tells them to, you could put in 2000cc injectors and with the stock ecu and injectors you wouldn't see any gains. Our cars actually run a bit rich stock.
