for the bottom buttons (i.e. defrost, recirc, a/c), the indicator lights are soldered on to a circuit board. Really easy to replace, if you know how to solder and are so willing to take stuff apart.
The ones that come on with the parking lights are twist-base bulbs. Two bulbs for all three buttons.
for the rotary *****, there are 2 twist base bulbs for all three rotary *****.

Re: 2001 civic climate control
dealer. i may have some spares tho. which ones did you need? there are two for the dials and two for the buttons around the radio area. they are both different sizes. the green/amber led indicators (not the icon lights) should never need replacing.
Re: 2001 civic climate control
found a youtube on how to replace the whole control and it looks like they are just bulbs and the leds are replaceable on the bottom control for ac... just not the ones the change from orange to green guess those are soldered
