I cleaned out iacv, egr valve, vtec solenoid and replaced my cam seal plug that was notoriously leaking. Also changed the oil and tranny fluids. Plus cleaned up the engine bay now that no oil leaks from the cam plug. Took some pics--all in all a good days work so I can have a few beers for St Patricks day!

Oh and I noticed my sub blew itself out of the sealed box, only 1 screw holding it down.lol.

no car pics yet, to dusty from being in the garage.

Re: Recent activities

Thanks! It runs a hell of a lot better. Transmission shifts smoother, new oil makes the engine sound quieter, and big increase in throttle response by cleaning the ports I mentioned...Its ready for another few thousand miles!

I had engine oil all over the egr/starter,engine mounts and got rid of it. This might be just a coincidence but the radiator used to kick on faster before the oil was removed(within minutes after reaching operating temp) I can't get the radiator to come on now by itself..AKA maybe a cleaner engine is a cooler engine??

Re: Recent activities
