i have a 2001 Civic LX coupe and currently have a stock stereo.. i want to replace it with an in-dash dvd stereo. does anyone know if it supports a double din or a single din stereo unit?? i just want to have this: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...s+BV8975B.html

I am pretty sure that you can do a double in there but I would see if one of the companies that makes the replacement dins makes one for a 2001.

Yes the 01-05 civics can support the DD screens. Use this: http://www.scosche.com/products/productID/1925
For the DD screens you may have to trim some of the bottom of the trim piece above for the screen to move to enter a disc, as I had to.
