I'm not sure which is the condenser fan and which is the radiator, but the passenger side fan is not turning on. My engine is overheating regularly. I've checked fuses and they seem ok.

First, can someone point out which fan is which?

The passenger side fan is the radiator fan and the drivers side is the ac fan. The fan not coming on is why your car is over heating. You might need to get another fan switch for it.

Check your fan first.

1. disconnect fan connector

2. Connect battery+ to one terminal and battery- to the other. Fan should immediately come on.

I did this and it did not come on. As a sanity check, I did it to the other fan and it turned on fine. So I'm guessing I need a new fan? Salvage yard fine?

Are there any DIY's you know of? It looks like I have to take out the overflow tank and some hoses.

I ordered a new fan motor from Amazon...pretty good price. Hopefully this will solve the problem.

That should be the fan since the ops check failed. Let us know if it works after you R2 it.
