Grounding Systems?

i was looking at purchasing a grounding system because it says it helps clean up your electrical signals, including audio systems, and since i have a system, that would be nice...but is it really worth it? and they claim a 2-5hp increase, not sure if that is true, but every horse helps right? does anyone have the Grounding System from Buddy Club or Apexi? i wanna know if its worth the cheese......

Re: Grounding Systems?

its good to make electrical stuff work better, but you wont notice a difference. its mainly to prevent future problems if the stock grounding gets corroded. and its best to replace the factory ground wires with 4 gauge cable and gold ring terminals rather than buying a kit that has wires going everywhere. just replace the factory grounds with upgraded ones. and it costs much less!

Re: Grounding Systems?

i did this during the summer too, you wont really feel an increase in hp or anything, but the electrical system seems to run a lot nicer. the flicker you get when the fans turn on is much smaller too. the biggest difference i noticed was the car is WAY quieter at idle. its the same when driving but at idle its like a night and day difference.

i didnt go with one of those systems, i made my own with 4 gauge wire and gold ring terminals and it worked out great. materials costed about 30$ because i used 6 ground points with 5 different pieces so over 10' in total.
