Will slave cylinder replacement fix hard shifts ?? how hard / easy to do ??

So after a lot of research I have heard that the excessive play in my shifter as well as how hard it is to shift when the car is cold and even still difficult when warm may be due to the slave cylinder. The part is under 100$ and im really hoping I can do it myself. So far ive gotten the Revo SS short shifter, skunk2 weighted shift ****, and metal busings kit thinking it was just a problem the car was always going have and in hopes of improving it but with no luck.

edit: btw I know its not my clutch, ive done the 30mph 5th gear rev test and there does not seem to be any slipping. Also its gears 1 and 2 that are the hardest to get in and out of, 3 is semi hard, 4 and 5 np

Ty

I also have this shift play. How can we fix it!!!! I have the same Revo SS and both sets of metal bushings as well. But still have such a sloppy shift.
