driver side floor mats

does anyone have an alternative to keeping the driver side floor mat from moving everywhere....the stock hooks that came with my civic do a crappy job at staying hooked in under the seats....i have to carry around a Philips head and a hammer to knock them back in every time i drive...it gets old after a while

thanks for any help

Re: driver side floor mats

you might just need new yellow plastic inserts for the hook screws if they are stripped. i had em and they never moved. in fact i think the plastic inserts are still on my car, and im never using floor mats again. if you want i can see if they come out without breaking and send em to you.
