I haven't seen any threads on the g2/ m3 side view mirrors. I've read people feel they're ricey and gearbox has said they provide less vision, but how do they look when installed on the car. Does anyone have photos of the g2/ m3 side view mirrors installed on their 7th gen cause I'm not gonna lie....I like the blue led arrow....

i bought these off eBay for 40 bucks and i think they are bad ***. Just make sure that you paint them to match your body. When you get them they are extremely shiny and shitty looking. but with a nice paint job on them they are sick.

i also have a dx so i dont have power to my mirrors. So i can not say how well the power works on them put the leds are very bright. good buy IMO

Nice...do you have pics of your 'vic because I wanna see how they look on them. Also, do you have photos of your back-up camera in your trunk key hole because I've been wanting to do this.

I actually do not have pictures of either. And we are getting our first big snow fall so i dont think ill be able to get pictures until the weather gets better. But i will not forget to do that. the camera is amazing it fits right in the key whole so you can hardly tell its even there. Awesome mod you can see everything behind you so well. ill keep in touch ya bro

yea for now. Im going to get a push button that will pop the trunk like the accord. not really looking for a solenoid tho just a button to pop it that's on my car starter.

yeah...definitely thinking about that back up camera...since my head unit has the feature...why not do it?...but anyone else with the g2/ m3 side view mirrors with photos cause i'm trying to actually see how it looks...

im looking for aftermarket mirrors too, mainly for weight reduction and aerodynamics. i dont care about losing power function, i havent adjusted the mirrors in over a year. the bomex ones look pretty neat, but way too pricey ($250+) lol. the apc ones (no leds) also have a good look but all i can find are the chrome ones and i want black so i can paint it. those are cheap as hell at 25 shipped.

some pics of apc, they would be smaller than stock but maybe still big enough to be useful.





if you really like being illegal and distracted at night, they have the riced version



bomex would be the best for aerodynamics, but i wonder if you can see anything and how does it adjust?

very hard to find any sites that sell these mirrors tho

these are what i have what do you think about these. I sanded them down a little and then painted the ssm to match and they look sick as hell! and its just barely smaller than stock i can barley tell

I looked but I did not see any one eBay without leds and all they had was Chrome APC for ten bucks with 14 shipping. I like the G2s better than the apc ones personally. I wonder how the G2s would look without the leds?

thanks for all the pics. gearbox...but those bomex ones are....well...different...haha...for aerodynamic purposes they'd be awesome...also i'm in a similar boat about the side view mirrors now because I just ordered the rsx sidemarkers so i don't want it to be overkill with my sidemarkers, led arrow, and the back of mirror all saying i'm turning...haha...7th gens need more side view mirror options for sure cause that circus lighted one isn't gonna cut it...

post pics if you do...i'd love to see the final results...Also, gear I read somewhere that you installed leds to replace all your bulbs in your car such as your climate control buttons, mirror buttons, etc. etc. etc. I found the website ledautomotive which have it specifically for our cars. How is the install/ the led swap?...I really want mine to be blue...

I've had the G2 mirror (no not the bomex and no not the BMW look alike)

The G2 mirror has that hole in the mirror...

It wasnt too bad and looked alright cuz i had it painted car color but the hole creates loud wind noise on highway. Also mirror is preetty small.

Another negative (although the mirrors are cheap and light) the led didnt last very long and isnt very bright
