02 civic dx

questions about exhaust and suspension.

id like to replace the headers back. will i feel more thrust off of it, or would i be better off just doin a catback system?

id like to drop my car. it has 17's on it and a body kit. i was thinking about selling the body kit and dropping the car. what would i have to get to drop the car the "right way" and not rigging it up. is it worth it to do so.

i understand my car wont be fast without expensive mods but pretty much what im askin is will doing these things make my car more fun to drive.

Re: 02 civic dx

More fun without spending big money, especially on a dx -sell the kit, trade/sell your 17's for 16's, drop 1-2" eibach, tein ect and get a sound system. If your car's manual throw in a short shifter and be done with it. Forget the full exhaust, get an axle back if you must. You got it right, your car wont be fast without expensive mods so go suspension/aesthetics unless you have big plans.

If your stock shock and struts are still in good condition, you will still be able to use them. But the ride may not be that great and could be bouncy, also they will wear out faster and blow. Lots of people are using Tokico HP's (Blues) as and upgrade, remember though they are only meant for a max drop around maybe 1.8" even that is pushing it.
