Questions about the ground wire upgrade ect

I dont run an awesome system or anything out of the ordinary but I have noticed that say when running my ac sometimes power is ok but when somthing kicks whatever it is that happens my power goes to crap for about 2 or 3 min then back to norm over and over.

This is the only time I really feel my car slugg and its a big difference, the same amount of gas to keep me staying at 70 while its sucking power will accelerate me to almost 80 after it kicks off and my SRI is whooshing while its going.

Will the ground wire upgrade or larger battery ect ect fix this or if anything what will ?

I also notice it does it at other times during normal driving but doesnt slow me down like when the ac is on.

not really, thats just how the car is. a weak alternator that can barely keep the car systems going is not gonna like any aftermarket additions lol.

as for the ac, it will rob all kinds of hp. its connected to the engine with a belt afterall.

Ya that alternator blows, at night after I park I can sit there with the rev idle at 1100, I turn off my lights and it drops to 900....

So is the answer a bigger alternator then ?

Cha-Ching if you got it. They suggest to upgrade the wire that runs from the alternator to the battery as the 170 amps will melt the stock

This will make your lights stop dimming when the bass hits!

heck the stock wire is barely enough for the 70 amps being put out. i dont know how they got away with such a small power wire, looks like 10 gauge, maybe 8. still too small. my lights dim just from rolling up the window!

I guess after years of experience, Honda knows exactly what they can get away with!
