Re: need help!

that is the original honda oem coupe lip kit (NOT aero kit) for 01-03 civics. all the pics are accurate except the white car has something different for the front. oem kit will fit sedans too and is available from www.handaaccessories.com here it is on my sedan. it comes painted from factory.

Re: need help!

yes the blue car, red car, and sides and front of the white car are all the 01-03 oem lip it. i have the same one too. the one on the front of that white car is i think a mugen version. i dont think theyre anywhere near as nice. ive seen a couple in person and theyre always chipped away and seem to get damaged a lot easier.

just make sure that if you decide to go with this oem lip kit, you are able to find hangers that are just a little bit longer than your stock ones to hold your exhaust up if you are running an aftermarket exhaust. the aftermarket exhausts are usually built to accommodate the car as stock. if you add a lip kit youll have to have your exhaust hang just a little tiny bit lower. i never changed my hangers and because of that i cooked the very bottom edge of my lip kit on the back. its only visible from underneath for the most part, but it still sucks. i wasnt even thinking when i did it.

Re: need help!

Correction, the blue rear, white sides and red sides and front is from the OEM kit. The white front is the RS lip.

Re: need help!

right now there is tons of space between, before there wasnt. the bumper is completely charred plastic, not just the paint that came off. its a big section too im not sure what to do about it. but like you say not very visible unless you look up at it. would be nice to find some sort of metal cutout or something to put over it.

is the lip thick enough to where you can put 2 or 3 screws in it without cracking it? if you so you might be able to get a really thin piece of sheet metal and paint it....just a thought, don't know how it would look or how noticeable it would be
