Well first off I Just wanted to introduce myself and how picture of my ride and ask a few questions. I have seen threads that talk about points on the topic, but never everything so I’m hopping someone can answer some on my questions and some that others may have.

1.Well with inspection due this month my first concern is my tints with the law in MA being 35% I have 20%. I Have herd from people on the boards going through inspections with the windows down or making deals with the guy there to pass. Does anyone have any idea others things that can be done to get around this?

2.My next major concern is my lights; I like others have the Ebay dual hallo lights with Hid. For starters well these lights fail right from the start? Also I have low beam only, will this cause me to fail. I’m also concerned how they measure the aiming of the lights. I have read threads about doing it from 25ft away but does anyone know how to replicate what they do?

3. My third major concern is my tiers I have taken penny pictures, but my question about these are what is the actual unsafe tire measurement? And which tread do the pick for it.

This I just wanted to throw this in because even though I did a crappy job I don’t see a lot of people with these. I look forward to any help someone can give me or any recommendations of places to go to in the Boston area.

It looks like all your tires are worn out. at least the first and last pics, the tires are almost bald. I would get all of them replaced asap. Being from NY, I don't think tires have anything to do with the inspection. As far as I know, all they test are emissions and safety stuff.

I have stock head lights but i think i shorted out my passenger side wiring while trying to install my hids, do i need high beems for inspection?
