double din dash mounting

hey guys, just bought a double din dash unit for my car. its a 7 inch screen with gps, bluetooth, and the t.v. tuner. i was just wondering the best way to mount it in my car. do i need an aftermarket mounting kit, or with a lil bit of work, can i make it work?.. i havent really toyed around with it yet but i was wondering if neone had the knowlegede... thanks guys!

yea i have a pioneer double din wit navi and all that good ****...anyway yes u need a dash mounting kit in order to install the double din. cost about $15-20 bucks

use the factory brackets that hold the oem radio, thats what i did and then you need a kit to fill in the gap that it creates. that you can get from metra

This is the one I got when I installed my Pioneer. You do re-use the factory bracket, as I recall.
