Post not sure what i should do??????

i bought my car in july of 07 before i went to my duty station. i am in the army and in a few(cant say) i should be home from iraq. i drive a 04 civic ex and i just wanted some ideas on how to gain more power or if its just a waste of time and go for a motor swap. now ive seen some SOHC 's push some decent power and move esp after a weight reduction in the car. i know i can push my car pretty nicely with some money spent. i just dont know if the hasle of a motor swap is worth it. so i wouild like some feed back thank you.

You can do two or even three things.

turbo the d17

K swap for about 200 HP

Or turbo a K swap

I believe the turbo d17 is the cheapest while a k20 turbo is the most expensive. Then again you can cut a lot of cost if you find the right things and are really patient for items to go on sale.

Deployment monies FTW.

A solid turbo setup and a k-swap will cost about the same. K-swap involves less ****ery (drop-in and go), but boost is fun.
